hi ive just bought a 24" screen so i want to upgrade my graphics card from an 8800gt. I thought about 260 gtx but im using a corsair 450 psu not sure if this will run it i only have 1 hdd and i dvd drive and i also use a nostromo pad.Does anybody know if this will run a 260 gtx or could anybody recommend a card which will be an upgrade without having to change the psu.

system

intell q6600 o/c
4g ddr2 ram
8800gt
vista 64

If its a VX450 id bet on it being fine, but you will have to use a 2xmolex to 6 pin PCI-E adaptor for one of the power plugs

im also looking to upgrade, i posted a few months back wondering about the GTS250 but decided not to bother, now after looking again i think the 260 will be a better choise for me.

this card would replace my currect X1950, and i think my psu will be ok with this but im always unsure on this kind of thing, im using a jeantech 600 (arctic) it has 2 x 12v rails at 19 amp each so do i just read this as 38 amp?

edit: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-050-GI is this a good card? am i bit worried as there are no reviews on this card :)

well i just took the side off to see what model 450 it was and its not is a corsair tx650w so they must have put a bigger psu in than they advertised so im taking i shouldnt have any problems with a 260 gtx should I ?

Nope, I'm using a q6700 @ 3.2, 6gb of ram, gtx 260 SSC edition ( oc-ed), 6 hdd's, etcetcetc on a 550w PSU. So will be more than enough.
