Will a DDR3 Motherboard support DDR2 memory?

Basically what the title states!!

Was looking at this board as it is for a cheap build for a mate:

No, it won't mate

Just like DDR won't work in a DDR2 board

Agree with EniGmA1981 DDR 2 can't work with DDR 3, New memory will be required.

+1 that right you cant use DDR2 and DDR3 at same time - both are 240 pins but different length in notch area - DDR, DDR2 and DDR3 cannot mixed it same as new future DDR4 that would be much different from DDR3.
