Will a new case reduce gpu temps?

Hi

I've currently got a cheap thermaltake case which came with my pc (it was pre-built). I updated the psu, gpu and cpu cooler about 6 months ago but I've never really paid that much attention to the temperature. I've used MSI Afterburner in the past, but as I said before, I never paid much attention to the temps.

Last night I used the on-screen display and noticed the gpu temps were 80 degrees. This seems pretty high to me as I only have a 560ti at stock speeds. My case is not exactly big, it has stock fans and the components are pretty squashed together.

Would getting a new bigger case decrease the temperature in general? I was looking at these two:

NZXT Phantom Enthusiast - Red/White
&
Corsair Graphite 600T - Limited Edition White

The Corsair seems to have goods reviews but a lot of people have said it's not exactly silent whereas the Phantom hasn't had that many reviews but people have said it's silent. Both seem to be great cases, just don't know what one to choose.

Does anyone recommend either?

Cheers

defo recomend the 600T white.. it looks lovely. great cooling. yer its not silent but u wont find one that is completely. i hardly hear it tho.

Graphics card cooling will be improved by a case with good/more airflow through it. However, one of the best things you can do is to find a case which can enable you to have a side mounted intake fan which will blow directly onto the graphics card.
I myself have the 600t and have the optional grill on the side equipped with 4 fans and my graphics card idle's nicely under 40 degrees. I would recommend the 600t, noise isn't that big of an issue, but as Stinger53 said it isn't a "silent" case.

The Corsair 600T has an inbuilt fan controller, so if you put it on low it isn't too bad. I use work computer with this case and it's not that intrusive, although I guess it depends how annoying you find fan noise.

Thanks for the replies, sorry I wrote the thread quickly and didn't write exactly what I meant. From reading the reviews of the Corsair, I wasn't sure whether the reviews meant the fans etc were loud or it's quiet just not silent. I'm guessing from the replies it's the latter.

Out of curiosity, can you set the fan controller to auto?

The fan controller is a twistable knob on the top of the case, it can only be changed by hand. :)

Deffo recommend the 600t. Even without side fans my gpu is usually about 32 at idle and CPU isn't much more and that's just the stock fans as well
