Will AMD use 3D?

Its gotta be said, if anything my thread has made me more confused with positive/negative comments regarding the same thing.

My own experience with Nvidias 3D vision was that it works a treat, obviously some older games have certain issues but the majority work fine and "3D vision" ready games work brilliantly. Can I suggest you have a look at the 3D vision blog website found here as you'll certainly get less biased opinions over there than you ever will here. Another page you may want to have a quick scan of is this, although slightly outdated it gives you a rough idea on how well each format is supported.

on the amd site there is a list of 3d compatable monitors/tv/projectors - here
Nvidia however, have a wider range and the quality is somewhat better

I have not got the model with me right now but its a 42" PLasma active shutter 3D telly, not smart tv but hey why do i need that when ive got a PC eh lol. i think it may be the 550? Got it for £360.

OK, thanks.

How does it do the 3d then because you can't send 120hz over HDMI, no TVs do native 120hz anyway, and I thought you needed 120hz for 3d gaming?

I think when a PC is not used the 3D is sent through frame packaging or side-by-side. both of which will reduce total image resolution.

Have you got any pics of your projectors in action.
Personally 3D has not attracted me, but on projectors at that scale must be a different experience.
