Or do I have to wait till I'm like 25?

I have 1 years NCB already and have had my licence 2 years.
Was thinking about getting a 225 Quattro, for just under 10k. But guess I'll have to wait....or will I?

people will insure you, but it will cost.
goto the owners club forum and see who the affiliate insurance is through, try them :]

Shouldn't be difficult at all, after 21 you can get insured on anything.

@ 21 Insurance on a TVR Cerbera will cost me £1.5k with 3yrs NCB ;)

You obviously live in a great area for insurance, most people, alas, do not and can't get insured on anything they like.

If you're willing to pay the high premium it's going to cost you as a young driver then it is possible to insure yourself. I'm surprised the other companies said no, but I guess you still are in the young/high risk category.

If you can afford that car then I am sure the insurance will not be a problem, I wasnt refused insurance on my new bike anywhere but some companies quoted stupid amounts which is a suble way of saying bugger off. I darent tell you what a bike is costing me a year on insurance and only TP.

Those guys gave me silly quotes on my Zetec S and MX5, obviously do not want my business, best quote so far is 800 on the ZS. just when i thought there might be some hope with that company. Id love to know who insures you on the TT if you do get insured.
