Will higher frequency DDR4 work on up to 3200mhz Motherboard?

Will it clock it self down to 3200mhz and work as fine?

No It wont clock its self down you have to manually set the timings.

I got them already, meant to be a different setup. Does it mean that if I plug them in It wont even boot to bios? Can I somehow make them working for my Ryzen setup or just gotta go Intel way and specific motherboard?
