Looking at an engine for sale,

.I have a 2.0 Litre twin entry MR2 Turbo engine for sale Gen 2 3S-GTE

.pistons cracked in it along the ring lands.

.Block, head, crank, cams and bores all in perfect condition. 60,000 miles on the engine. It has brand new Toyota water pump, idlers and tensioner fitted. Ideal for somebody doing a rebuild or for parts. The engine comes with the inlet manifold (TVIS) and exhaust manifolds. No turbo. I may be able to root out an ECU too but cant guarantee.

.Water pump alone is worth that.

I could probably get it for about 100 quid. But what can i do with it?
I could break it for parts?
Im looking for an engine block to use as a table base(yea Top gear:p), but im not gonna use an engine that could potentially of some use. So...what does OCUK recommend?

it's got to be a V8 if you are doing that with it tbh

a jap 4 pot's just going to look tiny once you hack all the pumps + electric bits off it

HT
Im not worrying about the size. I was planningon using two 7 horsepower anglia engines (they are tiny, i can lift them easily. But im gonna hold onto them.

But if i can sell the engine for parts, would i stand to make anything from it?

£100 is too much. you can pick up 997cc Anglia engines and 1100cc Crossflows for between £10 and £30. Use one of them, no-one wants them! Cheap!

Well i have four 48' anglia engines sitting in the garage+the popular engine thats coming out.

My dad will only let me have one of the anglia engines, so id use my popular engine but i think it would look a bit different.
