Got my VX922 last week and unlike another member on this board mine is pretty much perfect. Small bit of bleed along with top edge, but no pixel issues. Seems fine to me watching movies too, although I use it mainly with my tv tuner and some divx's rather then DVD's which I reserve for the HDTV setup. Gaming is great too, even at 75hz where it has been reported the 2ms response drops a bit. Only real issue I had was the Viewsonic drivers were causing the panel to hiss after coming out of suspend mode. No problem with the windows drivers.

Now I am thinking of ordering a 2nd of these panels and am wondering is it worth it and would be interested in hearing from people who went down this route. From what I can tell the only disadvantage is that you can only have 1 directx overlay active at one time. The advantages to me though would be having the ability have more windows open, and my favourite watching my tv programs on one panel while browsing on the other. But in gaming - what happens exactly ? Do you get the game on one panel and part of the windows screen on the other - and can you interact with it ?

I have been running dual display for a while now and to be honest finding it difficult to be without it when I go to work.
It can be so useful when transferring text from one word document or webpage to another document. As you say you can be watching dvd/tv on one screen while still browsing, typing, copying files on the other.
As for in game, I find it useful to be running the game on one screen, and Xfire/MSN/teamspeak on the other so I know when clanmates join, and who they are, without bthering with overlay software. You can't actually interact with those windows while the game is running until you alt-tab out of the game.
You are right that most overlay only works on one screen at a time. The only one I have found that can span across two is Quicktime.
