Will I get away with this? (Please advise!)

Hey all,

I decided it was time to redo the TIM on my graphics card since the original stuff was coming up for three years old. Anyway, I found out after removing the old stuff that the tube I had was practically empty. Therefore all I could put on the die is shown below. Can I get away with this little or do I really need more?

It does look a bit sparse, am guessing it will do for now but redo it as soon as you can

Well I powered up and it's marginally warmer than normal. Ah well, I'm sure I can forget about PC gaming for the next couple of days whilst I get some replacement paste sorted out.

What paste do people recommend? It's been a while since I've bought any so I'm out of the loop.

some colgate toothpaste will sort it out make it smell all minty fresh too

I've heard that this actually does work for the most part in a pinch but considering I'm using an overclocked and unlocked 6950, I'd rather not take the chance
