Maybe yes and you might run out of Vram as you will only have 1gb
There are a few games that are using more than 1gb Vram nowadays
Running @ 2560x1600 you shouldnt need much AA anyhow so you might be ok with most games.

at 5040x1050 i only get a bottleneck at around when running 8x aa or more so you should be fine
