will i see any difference in performance M4

hi there, i currently have a crucial c300 64 gb , apart from obvious increase in capacity, would i see an increase in performance if i were to purchase a Crucial M4 128gb?

if you have sata2 ports then no it will be the same,if you have sata3 ports then yes you would with the m4

You'll see an increase in benchmarks but it won't make much difference in every day use.

If you have SATA 3 ports on your board then it will boot slightly quicker and be quicker
with applications loading but nothing that you would notice hugely.

isnt there a sweet spot on the 256 gb ones as opposed to the smaller drives ?

i went from a vertex 1 60gb which has speeds of 175mbps to an m4 and i didnt notice any difference whatsoever in any apps or on bootup

i recently had to use that 60gb vertex as a boot drive again and i felt no difference from the m4 either
