Thats the whole point to dual core, etc Its cheaper for them to make them this way and its much more cost effective to double the power by doubling the cores (and then reduce/refine the manufacturing process) then trying to double the speed. Cell processing is the future :confused:

I cant imagine what kind of home application could occupy 32 cores long enough for heat to become an issue, real time light rendering on the desktop or something spectacular
