Whilst i agree about getting a 6870, very nice card. What heat issues are you talking about with the 470's? do you mean they run hot ? or is it a greater problem ?

I will sit and wait till the new cards arrive and see how they are, I am quite a patient person. Thank's for the advice.

Wish idiots would stop saying 470 has heat issues set a proper fan profile and don't apply stupid clocks and they fine
Even when highly clocked the 470,s can manage the heat no problem it's more a question of can u handle the heat it pumps into ur room

I think they should have called the 6870 the 6860 as it's in between a 5850 and 5870 in power. As for it being likened to a 5770, lol
