hi all

im wanting to invest in a custom loop to cool my cpu and gpu

i currently have a h100 and my r9 295 has its own loop

i have these in the top of my case with two front fans, two bottom fans and one rear

temps are about 55 on both cpu and gpu at the moment

im wanting to put a 360 rad and a 240 rad along with two fans in the front and one in the back.

will my temps be better than that as i dont want to dump 400+ pound into it just to look nice.

thanks in advance

The increase in total rad area will give you lower temps already :D

thanks for the replys.

im getting a thermaltake x9 to do a build with.

looking at 2x360 rads or maybe 2x480 rads trying to future proof the water loop for a second r9 295

With more rad space you should get better temps.

I have CPU loop with a 480mm rad @ a GPU loop with a 480mm & a 240mm rad my temps never go over 50c when I'm gaming

that's on a 4930k @ 4.5ghz & dual titans.

Thanks for the info
Looks likely going for 2x480s then
Do you think one of the xspc single bay and pump res will be enough for two rads like that?
I'm trying to kep the bays clearing and don't want a double.

Depends on the bayres, the only single bay pump/res i know of is the 420,and im pretty sure it would struggle to handle your proposed loop. With the hardware you plan on cooling, you shouldnt be looking at low end pumps at all imo You should be looking at DDC/D5 pumps
