Will lots of fridge magnets affect new fridge/freezer

Are you supposed to put them on the outside? I though you put them inside to attract the cold to the food

If the front of the fridge is covered in magnets then unfortunately you'll affect the cooling efficiency of the fridge. Some have claimed to go from like A+++ down to an F!
Just check the recent sales/ads for fridge freezers.
Manufacturers were told they had to review their rating based on magnetic load as "most" peoples fridge were covered in magnets.
You'll likely find that all of the fridges/freezers you find for sale are now F rated!
