Will my CPU bottleneck my GPU

Hi, i any ideas on if my CPU (AMD FX-6300) will bottleneck my GPU (Asus GTX 660ti)
I will be running this on a 1080p monitor at 60hz if thats any help.

I think there will be a bottleneck in some games, but to what degree I'm not sure.

If you've overclocked the CPU there won't be a problem - the FX-6300 compares well against i5 CPUs when it's running at about 4.5GHz. At stock though it should be good enough for the card to be the limiting factor in most games.

Yeah, if you're using the stock AMD cooler it probably won't manage that high.

Here's an example of a benchmark. Although the 6300 isn't shown overclocked, it should perform similar to an 8320.

The FX series is basically aimed at overclockers, so it tends to go up nicely.

It depends. If you're playing a neanderthal game that supports 2 CPU cores, possibly.

If you're playing Crysis 3 or Far Cry 3? with a half decent overclock you'll be right there with the 2500k.
