Ordered a Sapphire R9 290 on Wednesday with next day delivery (ordered well before 16:00).

On Thursday morning I tracked the delivery and it said that it had been refused at the depot due to damage

I contacted OCUK who investigated and arranged for another card to be sent out yesterday for delivery today :)

Today I tracked the parcel and was informed that it was out for delivery and that "Lorenzo" would deliver my parcel between 14:49 and 15:49 - its now after 18:00 and the delivery status has recently been changed from "Out For Delivery" to "At Delivery Depot"

I have not left the house (received 2 other deliveries today) and no card has been left.

DPD are not looking very good

Sounds like the driver ran out of time. DPD are considered in the industry to be one of the better performing couriers.

You could try phoning your local depot - mine allow me to go pick it up until 8pm.

You can google for your local depot number - don't bother with the 0845 rubbish or their website.

My local depot is in Stoke (not too far from OCUK) - But its 45 miles away from me

I had this before. Bailey I believe it was, rang them, they claimed they had rang the doorbell several times and stood there for at least 5 minutes.

Now, they either went to the wrong address and were the most patient delivery driver ever because I don't think most if any would wait for that long, or it was an outright lie as the doorbell did not ring once and I was sitting in a position from which I could have seen someone standing at the front door even if they didn't press the doorbell.

Anyway, after some help from Bailey they arrived later the same day. Turns out the driver had been called away before making the delivery, and then got told off for not making it even though he got called away from it... Strange... DPD are normally good... I'm sure someone at OcUK will sort it out for you though. :)

That notification just shows how good DPD are. I don't know any other courier company who give you such a notification.

Its may be better than other couriers but its still not acceptable IMHO, I have paid for Next Day Delivery.

I was informed that the delivery would be made between 14:59 and 15:49, then at 20:20 the tracking page was updated saying Lorenzo was delayed - No fully star out swear words! Sherlock - I know he was delayed, I have been in the house all day! What use is that kind of notification when the absence of my delivery makes it quite obvious that he has been delayed.

On Thursday it was not delivered as it was received at the depot "damaged" (must have been DPD as OCUK would not send out a damaged package) and then this today. This isn't really a high level of service from a "good" company.

Lol Yodel have been one of the worst for me though not quite as bad as city link, dpd have easily been the best for me though like all couriers a lot comes down to individual depots and drivers.

Unfortunately its coming upto that time of year when volumes ramp up, more temps hired and standards drop :(
