Will Nvidia 1080 partner cards include video output variants?

I noticed that the Nvidia GTX 1080 card, that was revealed recently, only has one DVI output.

I really want this new card, but unfortunately for me I have 2x BENQ XL2411T monitors.
This monitor has DVI inputs, HDMI inputs and VGA inputs.

This means that, as the 1080 has only one DVI output, I can only run one monitor to its maximum refresh rate potential.

Do you think that Nvidia partner GTX 1080 variants will have different output choices?

Or

Is there any way I can get an adapter or something to allow the DisplayPort on the card to change into a DVI connector?

You can buy display port to dual link dvi adapters, but they are a bit expensive. around 80 quid. make sure to check it is a dual link dvi adapter, they only make them in active variety. so they should be more expensive anyway.

Will that one work? It says it's DP to DVI dual link, but I'm skeptical as you said they are usually £80?

EDIT - Nevermind - I just noticed it limits the refresh rate to 60hz >.>

You should be fine with basicly any converter as long as its DP (PC) to DVI-D(monitor) it wont work the other way around. I found out the hard way(DVI-D (PC) to DP(Monitor) doesnt work) but the cable only cost me around 12 pounds so no big loss.

I would advise to wait, normally the AIB partners will release a custom PCB with a different configuration of outputs compared to the Nvidia reference card.

Be cautious when looking for converter cables. When I was looking for the same thing last summer the cheaper cables were limited to 60Hz. I could only find 120Hz, or greater, output from more expensive active adapters.

It has to be an ACtive dual link adapter to allow you to use up to 144hz over dvi.

I think I will wait and see if any cards come with custom outputs first.

If not I will probably wait and save up for a 1080ti and a 4k monitor >.<
