Hi i've still got a old agp card so i've not come into contact with PCI-e slots, but if I bought a pci DUal tv tuner for my pc - and then later on all slots become pci-e when upgrading my motherboard - will pci cards work on pci-e X1 slots?

Well some DVBT cards are coming out on PCI-E x1/x4 slots, im scared that in the future all motherboards will only support pci-e slots and no normal pci slots.

There is a sata addon card that is pci-e 1x

SIIG PCI-Express 2-Port SATA-II RAID Card (CC-018-SG)

In the OC now.

That is exactly what will happen. Dont expect it for a year or two though.
Thats what they said about AGP, then every1 goes cazy and buy the new cards and mobos creating no demand for AGP cards, whereas us skivvies suffer.
