Will Raid Ant / Cockroach Spray Kill Spiders?

I bought some flea spray called RIP for the garage which was about £10 a can, seems to work well. I spray it in their webs and it stops them coming back too.
 
If it's the Raid version it works just fine, even on very big spiders. They actually die pretty quickly. Blowtorches are surer, but messier.
