will replacing my RAM affect my overcklock?

With spec in sig, i have Corsair Dominator GT 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C7 1600MHz Triple Channel Kit ASUS MOBO (P6X58D-E) SOCKET 1366

id like to upgrade to 12 gigs ( 3 sticks, as cpu cooler would block more)

Any suggestions of ram from Overclockers? and will i still maintain my 4.2 overclock on my 980X?

As you will be replacing the 3 sticks for larger capaicity DIMMs to attain 12Gb your clock 'should' be unaffected - as the clock would only be affected if you filled all 6 DIMM slots as this adds more stress to the memory controller.

XMS3, Kingston, Crucial - which ever is cheapest TBH.

EDIT: The Corsair Vengeance 12800 tri-set is on a this week special - 8 8 8 24
