Will SwiftTech Apogee WaterBlock fit i7 socket?

That's not for the GTX. The GTZ adaptor was mentioned in the first reply.

Fully aware of that...hence the use of the word 'might'.

The GTX is no longer in production....its no longer on Swiftech's website so it looks like its either:

1) Try the GTz bracket
2) Buy a new Block
3) Back to air

;)

The new Foxconn Bloodrage i7 motherboard supports the LGA775 mounting

I wonder if any other motherboard manufacturers will adopt this?

This money is burning a whole in my pocket , lol. I wonder if anyone has tried putting a
Zalman Reserator XT Hybrid Liquid Cooling Syste (WC-012-ZA)
on that m/b if it fits its on my shopping list in January

you are better off building a decent watercooler the zalman sucks they are built for noiseless operation not overclocking i did a review on the xt a while ago and it would not cool a qx9770 at 4.2 i have a 17 965 here with a good custom watercooling set up and at 4.25 it is doing 70/75 c at prime then after about 1/2 hour goes to mid 80s so the zalman would be no good at all

Got the i7 bracket for the GTZ and got my i7 920 to 4.15GHz and get around 76c after running Prime95 for hours. A great block, but i also got a tripple radiator which certainly helps.
