Will the Seagate Barracuda 320GB HDD be compatible with this?

I'm looking to replace my hard disk with a bigger and faster one but also keep my old hard disk hooked up. My spec is in the sig below.

AFAIK, my mobo supports SATA 150, but not SATA-II, so will this be a problem? If not, will I be able to set this drive as the master and my IDE drive as a slave?

Also, does the disk come with cables or do you have to buy them seperately? Mind you, I think I remember seeing a SATA cable come with the mobo so I'll prob still have that, but will it be compatible with SATA-II?

Thanks in advance!

Okay, just did some reading up and I see that the SATA-II drives are backwards compatible but may require a jumper setting to set to SATA 1 mode. Am I also correct assuming I need to use a SATA *power* cable though, as well as a SATA data cable? I didn't realise that.

Also, I'd still like to know whether I'd be okay with the SATA-II drive running alongside my Western Digital IDE drive, so I can easily transfer data for backup purposes.

Cheers!

Yes SATA1 and SATA2 are backwards compatible.
Yes you will need a SATA power cable(Except on Western Digital and Hitatchi drives as these have molex connectors as well) Although if you don't have a SATA power connector, you can simply get molex to SATA power converter cables.
And yes, your SATA drive will be fine alongside an IDE drive.(I have 3 SATA drives and 1 IDE drive in my rig.)

Btw, just to clarify, the Seagate doesn't come with a data or power cable, does it?

Also, how does this drive compare to the Western Digital Caviar SE16 320GB 3200KS SATA-II 16MB Cache that sells for a similar price (albeit an OEM model)?

EDIT: Ooops, just noticed that the Seagate is an OEM model too so I guess it doesn't come with any cables?
