Will this cause damage?

I have 2 980 Tis installed in my pc, though once card I have no power connectors installed in the second one. It is lit up and shows up in GPU_z this won't cause any damage when playing games with my other Ti will it? Device manager does state it has stopped the device so I'm guessing it's fine to leave in my pc? I don't want to wire it up in till I get another card that I can use in SLI as my current card is too big for my sli bridge. Thank you

Just wire it up properly, it won't use any more power than it is at the moment.

Cheers pal thank you I'll do it later on, looking forward to using sli with these 2 cards have to admit, last sli system was with 970s they were fast but oh boy these 980 Tis are going to be quick ^_^

Why not just remove it until you can use it?
