Will this post without a BIOS update?

Hi

Looking a E2140 here with a Gigabyte GA-G33M-S2 motherboard

I've checked the supported cpu list and the newer M0 cpu is only supported with F5 bios

Now if I get older board with original? will it even post or will it just give an error and not post at all.

it will post with wrong things on the screen normaly but it will work

How certain are you? lol

I will be in **** if it doesn't post at all

It needs to be that Matx board or perhaps the DS2R model instead as this is a cheap build, i can't afford to buy multiple cpus/ motherboards incase it won't work

I would expect it to post with "Unknown CPU" as the CPU type on the POST screen.

Is there anyone with this motherboard who can tell which Bios version comes as default these days.
