Will this RAM work in my X58 system?

Hello,

Currently I have this spec:

i7 920
Gigabyte EX58-UD5 (rev 1, the oldest version)
6gb Kingstone HyperX 1600

I have noticed when I have multiple tabs open and running other applications its getting closer and closer to the 6gb ceiling. I have been looking for DDR3 triple channel kits for an upgrade and wondering if this memory kit will work with my system:

Corsair Vengeance 12GB (3x4GB) - CMZ12GX3M3A1600C9

I don't see why it wouldn't work but would like a some other opinions.

Yeh it seems like it should work (same specs as my current ram) but I remember reading before buying the system all those years ago that x58 was rather picky with memory modules.

I guess there is no 100% answer until I try it or someone else has tried the same combo
