So will this run Battlefield 4, Rust, DayZ at a stable FPS, Performance?
 
It will, but if this is a purely gaming machine you can drop down to 8gb of ram and drop the cpu to the 8320 processor.

The system you linked is around £120 more..
I am no good with specs etc just want ti play latest games on high/ultra graphics.. Need help :'(
 
For bf4, more modern and well optimised games, the 8350 is a brilliant processor. For other games which don't use as many cores (Arma, WoT, DayZ), you will get worse frames per second out of it compared to an intel processor.

If you're on a budget, go for the 8350, but if you can stretch for it id go for the intel unless you want to try to over clock it more which it doesn't sound like you want to!

Not true as a blanket statement in the slightest.

For 990 pound, you're looking at a better system than what's in your original post, and it's more than likely going to be an i5 4670K.

So guys is it worth getting this system? How would it be with battlefield, rust, dayz and all Massive multiplayer online games? On high/ultra graphics?
 
Actually, I redact what I said, it really is 120 quid more expensive as you have to factor in the OS.

However it's a better gaming system, I still think it's a little bit too pricey personally, but that can't be helped unless you build your own.

For the games you're playing ; DayZ, the i5's a much, much safer bet.

What would the FPS be like on high quality graphic games?
Such as Battlefield and MMOs and so on?

Some guy on Facebook said this to me about the system with the intel i5.

Right 9k is the amd, 7788 is intel from passmark cpu benchmark :)

The 8 cores going 100% are faster than the i5 4 cores going 100%, but that's not going to happen in a gaming environment, certainly not DayZ.

BF4, the FX83's practically identical to the i5, in MMO's however it's slower.

The i5 really does seem the better choice for your needs, but you need to build it yourself to keep the cost down.

Not sure, AMD eight cores is the better option?
Little cheaper but not sure if it would run games well?
 
The AMD 8 cores isn't the better option for the games you're looking at, quite the opposite.

You can get an i5 system with OS in at the same price as your original post, as long as you build it yourself, and that'd be the best option by far.
 
Honestly don't know what to do I've had PC's for couple of years but never been in to gaming as much as I am now.. I cannot find a good pre-built gaming pc that will play games at high/ultra graphic settings without no lagg..
 
Building it yourself is not very difficult. It is very expensive Lego basically. I built my own system about 5 years ago with no experience and it's still going with no problems today.

Ring OCUK and customise that how you want with the PSU/16GB RAM.

But you can get an i5 4670K and R9 280X with the SSD and 1TB set up for with 8GB RAM and 450W PSU for 883!

Though, because it's this week only, I'd just order it as it is with the i5/R9 280X etc, ring them in the morning to do desired changes to 16GB RAM/PSU etc.

I don't fancy talking over the phone I don't really understand specs etc at the moment.. just want a good gaming system which will last couple of years before upgrading again.. my budget is £1,000 which will be more than enough to play games on high/ultra gaming graphics..
 
Okay, just customise that rig to your specs :p

That 450W PSU to me is skirting too much with an R9 280X, but since they have it as a selectable spec, they're confident it's fine.

I'm using 8GB RAM at the moment as I've had to RMA some sticks, and can't see a problem at the moment.

You could even make it an i7 with an R9 280X under budget, which is by far the best you'll be able to do on a pre-built.
