Will this system be good for gaming?

Just low quality parts/not enough information.

There's no USB 3.0 / SATA-6 on that motherboard. That means limited options later without a new motherboard. Also only 2 RAM slots.

Pretty sure you want 1600MHz RAM for the i5-2400.

No mention of brand names for the HDD and graphics so presumably the cheapest they can get hold off.

Low quality PSU.

For the money you're spending all the off the above can be easily rectified if you shop elsewhere or build yourself.

Do you actually care what's wrong with them? Or do you just want someone to say "yes, that one is good buy that"? Seems the latter is what you're fishing for considering you've pretty much disregarded everyone elses advice.

The overall point is you can do a lot better with your money if you just listen to the people in the thread, but if you've got your heart set on one you pick then just buy it.

Disregarded? I've read everyone's post and took them all into consideration, I'm getting this computer for Christmas and don't have a £700 budget, also therefore I can't yet wait until the new GFX cards come out, I'm pretty sure I can find the money in the future to fit in and upgrade quite easily, I just don't understand why people are saying they wouldn't buy it when it contains an i5 and 560 Ti? They seem perfect for gaming and I don't see what's wrong with them.

I think the point is that for your money you could do marginally better
Thanks for the feedback, All I want is a gaming PC for Christmas for £600 but me being new to this sort of stuff I'm baffled as what to go with, could one of you guys possibly spec me a nice gaming PC for £600? I'd appreciate it a lot.

Do you know anyone who could help you build it? A relative who has done it before or a friend? It would really help if you built your own so you can get the best 'bang for your buck'.

Sorry just noticed a small mistake, you will need this proccessor instead for £9 more. The one I orginally said doesn't come with a cooler.

It is worth getting the 'K' edition though because even if you don't want to overclock now it's nice to have the option there and will give you a nice boost for only the cost of a cheap 3rd party cooler if you decide to give it a go later.

if you want the system speced for that price you'll have to order tonight as the hard disk is today only(10 left) and the graphics card + ram is this week only offer that ends tomorrow morning(not sure on time).

if you can stretch another £26 you can get one with 2 games http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-267-AS

:o oops.

Assuming you haven't ordered already in which case you're OK, I can make up a new spec tomorrow when the offers have all changed. A few bits might be swapped out for similar items but it's likely the overall price won't change much (let's hope).

Also, should I maybe get a better CPU cooler for my birthday if I ever contemplate overclocking in the future?

Yes, if you're thinking of overclocking then you should really get an aftermarket cooler :)

I think you can overclock a very small amount with the stock cooler, but then the temps will get too high after that :) So you might aswell get an aftermarket one, the Gelid Tranquillo is a good one :D

Thanks bro will deffo get one if I ever plan on OC'ing in the future

Anyone else got some naice builds for my budget? :)

I think your best bet is too re post the day you're ready to order so we can take advantage of the offers. That way we can make sure you get the best spec for your budget.

I could put together another build now but next week (or even tomorrow with the daily offers), it might not be the best deal any more.

Ok man, I might order this weekend, you reckon there'll be any deals then?
