Will this work on AM2?

I need a new cooler since my artic cooler 64 is just a wee bit big and wont fit.

Stuck with the generic cooler >_<

will the Zalman CNPS7700-ALCU Ultra-Quiet CPU Cooler - Retail (HS-011-ZA) work too

m8, seriously You have the info on your finger-tips. Or do you have them there & want to make sure before trying to force it/them in?

The CNPS7000B-AlCu is not specified for AM2 (though 940 pins, not the same as Socket 940) therefore will not fit. Same goes for CNPS7700-AlCu

Only Zalman I can see guaranteed to fit is the CNPS9500 AM2

EDIT: Bit suprised the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro don't fit. Few review websites claimed it should

It looks like that cooler will work with everything but AM2

You are better off going for the Zalman CNPS9500-AM2 Aero Flower

There is a thread I started "AM2 AIR coolers your recomendations ...." somewhere in this section. It contains a weblink to a cooler compatability list though it is not yet a comprehensive list.

Freezer Pro 64 may fit your requirements. It is cheap and cheerful!!!
