I was just wondering... My current Netgear WGR614 seems to have crapped out while I've been on holiday - connection drops left right and centre and my Xbox 360 keeps dropping it's connection...

I need a replacement and was thinking of going for the new Netgear WNR854T... Will I see any benefits in signal strength and speed from it when all my devices are only wireless g standard?

If I get better signal strength it would be worth it, but if there'd be no real advantage I might as well save the cash.

If I would see better performance, is the Netgear WNR854T the best out there, or should I consider another router?

Thanks for any advice

Peter
