Im just brought a laptop and was wondering will world of warcraft play on it. Im not sure what graphics it has but it plays warcraft 3 fine online on high graphics.
Oh and its a 512 ram 1.4ghz mobile celeron if thats any help.

from what you've said it should play it ok, not great but ok, but you need to find out what graphics it has just to be sure, WoW isn't very grphicly challenging but it does need more power that WC3

i would say highly unlikely, tho iam assuming the laptop has poor onboard graphics chip.

put it this way my amd 3700 64 with 512 ram and usign a gf2mx was unplayable on lowest settings.

wow isnt a huge graphical game but it uses a hell of a lot of memory.

warcraft 3 is old and the spec of your laptop would have been a top of the range pc when that came out.

So no not a chance

If it is one of the more decent Intel Graphics chipsets then yes, and you have at least 512MB of RAM.

I have a Fujitsu Siemens C Series Lifebook and it plays Eve Online (OK not brilliant) and Unreal Tournament 2004...but I wouldn't use it to play any serious gaming sessions.

Laptops suck for games but win for mobile p0rn! :p :D

I play wow on

1ghz amd
512mb ram
64mb gf4

Hunting places is smooth as smooth can get but when you start to go near ironforge and stormwind, i freeze lol...Then after that its genrally laggy and crappy

It peaks at almost 700mb ram on my pc with no programs running in background.

I've played WoW on an 800mhz P3, 370ish ram and a geforce4mx and it was fine. FPS dipped a lot in places , but it dosent matter much when playing an mmorpg like wow. My brother raided in MC with that computer pretty successfully.

I play wow on my laptop, only has a ATI 9700 mobile GPU with 64MB and play with max graphics settings smoothly. Although having said that it does have 1GB RAM and 2.8GHz P4 CPU ;) Dont worry about the GPU, the RAM is more important.

BlackMaster

As long as the graphics has at least 32MB Memory, it should at least work, tried it on my mates computer which has a 16MB Tnt... it simply wouldn't work.
