Given this is a national event the majority will be proud of, I'm not too upset about the 'protestors' being accosted a bit by the police.

You can still see the demonstrators there so they are being allowed to protest - Sky have just shown them all. Bless.

I think it's absolutely clear the majority of people have a degree of interest. Doesn't mean we're all going crazy and putting flags up - I'm not. We can agree to disagree on that - just enjoy the service, we don't see it very often.

Fair enough, just pulling your leg a bit.

I will admit I am currently enjoying playing a game of 'who has the biggest hat' and which person with the biggest neck chain would make the best rapper.
 
Seems to be a less busy thread than the Queen’s funeral…

Currently on holiday with my family in Spain and my dad showed up to a well-attended breakfast wearing a Union Flag shirt and, underneath, a London 2012 olympics T-Shirt. I have the distinct impression that he was dressed up this way by my mum, who seemed delighted with the attire. Meanwhile, she was wearing red earnings, a white shirt and blue shorts; the colours of the Union Flag. “Do you get it?” she beamed.

When asked what I thought, I could only muster: “… it’s a look!”
