I read something questioning how an adulterer can be head of the Church. I guess rules don't apply to the rule makers.
It’s got it be nerve racking for anyone frankly. Plus, you have no idea how’s the chaps feeling. Maybe he’s tired, maybe he doesn’t feel so well. Maybe he knows the weight of history is on his shoulders and he just wants to get through it.

Try and think about how draining a normal social event can be when the spotlight is on you and then multiply it by a million.
He’s 74 year old and will have been up for hours getting prepped for this.

Never mind garlic, I'm pretty sure he's allergic to sunlight. This is a huge sacrifice for him.

I have a desire for the King to do something humorous and bizarre, something utterly out of character, such as get the horsemen to halt the coach, get out, point to a protestor and run his hand across his throat. Sadly I don't think much of his father's impetuousness has rubbed off
