Enthusiasts across the globe are preparing to watch a total eclipse of the Sun on Wednesday.

An area spanning 14,500km (9,000 miles), from Ghana to Mongolia, will see the Moon completely cover the Sun for several minutes.

In the UK it will be possible to observe the Sun between 10 and 20% eclipsed between 1045 BST and 1225 BST.

BBC :)

I'll still be in bed fast on, from my nightshift :(

Wow, I love eclipses. The last two times they happened in England something cool happened. I passed my GCSE's, the next time I got laid with one of my fittest one night stands ever, so hopefully something cool will happen this time!!

didnt even know there was an eclipse, but if im up ill certainly keep an eye out for it! although only 20% not a big one for us in blighty.

DO NOT look into the eclipse if you don't have special tinted lenses! (And that doesn't include sunglasses!)
Your retinas expand when looking at an eclipse because you're focussing on a darkened circle, and that allows ridiculous amounts of ultraviolet radiation in, which will proceed to get ultraviolent with your eyes! (Bad pun, I know.) Last time there was one back home (was August as well), there were a few dozen people turning up at the hospital afterwards complaining they can't see properly.

Maybe she won't have any arms or legs......

I wonder what it'll be like in Palma de Mallorca?

Last time I saw a full eclipse I was in my house in Cyprus - that was pretty amazing I have to say. I could do with being there at the moment :(

We're supposed to get a 98% eclipse down here in Cyprus. Should be cool.
Unfortunately the difference between a 98% and 100% eclipse is massive, I was lucky enough to see a total eclipse in northern France a few years ago, very strange feeling as it got very dark at 2pm :)
