Any Willow fans?

Not sure how I feel about this one. Love the film and we do need a little bit more High Fantasy on our screens.

I believe Warwick Davis is on board

I rewatched Willow recently and didn’t think it aged very well at all...
I rewatch it every year and think it has. Special effect at the end is pretty meh and the troll part but the film has some of the best scenes and dialogue ever.

Follow the bird. It's heading back to the village lol. It's just one of many.

It's just a feel good movie for me like The Princess Bride that never fails to deliver.

Willow is timeless if you can get past some of the special effects.

Better written than the modern pap that we keep getting.

As you can tell I'm a huge Willow fan but I'm struggling. Seriously struggling.

Watch episode two last night and this morning I can barely remember anything that happened.

Filling in the time line with flash backs willow daughter all grown-up.

No wonder Disney+ is in trouble. These shows aren't cheap to make.

Like Rings of power it's pretty but the dialogue is hideous and the writing is gutter trash.

This has zero charm of the original. How did that happen?

Can't be that much left to ruin from my childhood :(

I'll just link to what Doomcock has to say...

Who owns the rights to The Princess Bride?

Willow , Starwars, Heman soon to be Indy. RiP

:(

How on earth do they keep fuging things up.

They are handed massive budgets and get original cast members involved but they still fail.

A fudge it!!! tomorrow in work finishes me for Christmas.

Time to watch the original.

Does this get any better?

Must be a gluten for punishment on episode 4 and this is just dreadful

Dialogue is woeful like some bad teen TV show. Action is hideous.

Acting is a lucky dip. All the female leads are as bad as Warwick.

I do like the rogue like guy with the big arse sword.

I really do like the production value. Sets are good.

Also still trying to figure out why there was two female cowboys or lumberjacks from down under?

As soon as Rool turned up it instantly put a smile on my face.

Shame it was ruined by the rest of the episode.

Its getting to a point that it's that bad it's good for chuckle.

Like seriously. Let's have a school dance in the middle of the forest and que the slow dance.

Could they not get someone to score the series correctly?

Two or 3 girl power moments that fell flat.

The whole episode was basically a training Montage. (At least it had one or attempted)

Also near spilled my coffee when girly man popped up with new awsome haircut.

Must be the same hairdressers as Rings of Power.

None of the actors are under contract and Show runner is not getting paid.

It's a still a pretty big IP so they will roll back out in a few years.

"I dwell in darkness without you" and it *went away?

I'm so sick of Childhood favourites getting destroyed. If they harm the Princess Bride I'm laterally getting onto a plane and Burning the studio to the ground.

That's if there is anything left after this reckoning happens.
