Murray's 1st round match looked like a breeze; beating Goffin 6-1 6-4 7-5. I don't think he will win it this year. That route looks incredibly difficult once he hits the quarters and I don't think he is currently strong enough to beat Djokovic and Nadal.

Two Britons have fallen already, expect to see all but Murray follow them promptly.

there's not really any point in keeping an eye out for any of the other brits... :p

golubev getting bummed by djokovic at the moment. i reckon he'll be lucky to win a single game. edit: it's 9-0 as i write this. just another 9 to go.

Saw the Naomi Broady interview. This girl has her head screwed on by the sounds of it and could do well, even though she's ranked about 130 in the world.

i caught the last game of her match and i have to say she served it out in style. a brit into round 2.

@xibinim, you need to add kyle edmund and dan evans to your list of 1st round losers. :p

Murray's "likely" route is very unlikely:

2nd Round - Pablo Andujar - already out, but he's a clay courter
3rd Round - Roberto Bautista Agut - maybe.
4th Round - Fabio Fognini - Kevin Anderson more likely winner
Quarter Final - David Ferrer - Not a chance in hell. Dimitrov or Dolopoglov will take him if Baghdatis doesn't do it first.
Semi-Final - Novak Djokovic
Final - Rafael Nadal - Hasn't won a grass court match since 2012. No. Just, no.

As usual Federer steam rolled his 1st round opposition, I would imagine similar results until the quarters which seems to be the new point of where his previous dominance waivers.

Watson has taken her first set and Nadal has lost his first set

Didn't take long, Nadal level now.

I wish that I wasn't so busy over the next two weeks so I could catch more matches live.

Always enjoy watching the Tennis, such a clean(rules/fairness wise) and intricate sport :).

Fairly predictable results wise today.

It was bad enough when - I want to say Nalbandian? - kicked that boarding into an official and lost the match as a result.

What an idiot. :D

Then again, in Tennis if you **** around you get DQ'd. And then you don't make as much money. Simple as.
