yup, ugly isn't it, I use startisback, Windows 7 start menu for Windows 10, 30 day trial and then like $2.99 to buy, dead cheap: https://startisback.com/#home-tab

Haha, if you guys think that looks hideous, that is AFTER I made the tiles (well most of them) look better rather than just an ugly icon with a coloured block around it

I did have it full screen before, as I said, just messing about. Its a work in progress. Other than how it looks, I guess its kind of pointless really, as I generally either just click a taskbar icon or use Winkey + search for what I want.

Something called Start8 is in the $1 tier of the humble bundle I linked to, if you like that sort of thing...

Is there any guides on how to use this and what to remove to get rid of all the bloat in 10? I used it ages ago but with the version of windows 10 I had it just got loads of permission issues trying to remove stuff as the tool was not up to date for the ISO I used.

When you register over at that site and can see the download links, there is a youtube video guide there as well.

Download v8 as that's the version he uses in the video, v9 is slightly different and you'll struggle to follow the video, found this out the hard way.
