Win 7 (64bit pro) not seeing second drive

Hey folks

I installed a clean copy of windows 7 64bit pro on a new drive today. I left connected another HDD I use for storage which is in three partitions.

After installing the new OS on the new drive I cannot access the other HDD to pull over some files? Not sure why this would be can anyone assist? I do not want to risk losing anything on the 2nd drive.

It says in the Computer Management window that the drive is foreign.

Any tips gratefully received.

On to your issue though, in disk management (Right click My Computer and select Manage) simply right click the drive and select Import > Foreign Disk

I was mainly worried about losing the data. Many thanks.
