Win 7 Copy

Why is win 7 ultimate copying data from one hard drive to another ..... with out asking me if i want to replace the data ? because i only wanted to copy updated stuff ? still got 40 minutes to go is it going to duplicate the same files ??? or replace them with out asking ?

copied one local disk to another in win explorer both just storage but 90% same data ?

finished copying it copied the hole disk well the content to a new folder OK will go back try copy contents only by selecting all, see if that does the desired thing :confused:

selecting all contents once opening drive copied in about 30 seconds after asking if i wanted to copy the rest Grrrr

...... ho well u learn something new every day hope this will help some out there
