So im going to download windows 7 pro from msdn, whats the difference between x86 and x64? Which one is better?
That would depend on the amount of ram your system has.
If it's less than 4GB, go with the 32bit ( X86) version. otherwise, 64bit (X64) is the way forward.![]()

Sorry, I assumed most users are on 64bit capable CPUs.
