Win 8.1 Desktop Image changed!

The desktop background image in my Win 8.1 installation has mysteriously changed to the illuminated 3D window of Win 10.

Is this a bit of Microsoft cunning? I have the Win 10 background download but don't tend to use it yet!

Anybody else had this experience. The standard win 7 image seems to have disappeared from the personalisation option.

If you are using the same live id on both Windows 10 and 8 installs then the recent update to 10 has suddenly triggered some weird synchronisation changes - you can deselect the synchronised theme in the personalisation options.

It totally messed up my Windows 8 tablet (reversible fortunately) due to some low level "hacking" I'd done on 10 to make things a bit more usable that somehow got partially synced.

Well that explains it! Thanks very much - have to look for this reselection!
