I've never got the point of watching films at the cinema? What's so fun about sitting with a bunch of people who make tons of noise and **** about? Much nicer watching them at home :3
I would never go alone. Its more of a social experience really
Plus the screen is enormous, there is loud surround sound, and you get to see the film before its available to buy (or acquire by other means)

Orange wednesdays are usually pretty quiet, we have had about 6 people maximum in the cinema with us at times and then it feels like you are at home but with better sound and viewage (not to mention 3D glasses of win xD)
But yea I hate the plebs that make loads of noise and peeve me off.

I will never experience 3D because of my ridiculous 80:20 vision...

So I'm not the only one! I'm almost blind in my right eye and 3D looks worse than 2D, by a large amount. I have a feeling though that those shutter glassess might work (since I see more from my right eye if my left is covered), I'll have to go to a local Curry's and see if I can demo some shutter glasses. I know PC world do it but everyone there seems so ridiculously stupid.

3D doesn't work for me either
I had my eyes laser-ed in the early 80's as part of the trials although my vision is good 3D films just look normal to me.

My vision sucks too, but glasses/contacts help, hope to get laser-ed at some point but that comes after marriage, IVF, mortgage etc *flails*
