*WIN* a Super Flower Leadex GOLD 1300W Fully Modular "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply! (Worth £169.99)

The competition is now closed. And guess what, the winner was the last poster. He managed to slip in within 20 minutes spare.

Krowzer congratulations! - I am sure the PSU will handle your graphics cards well, but I believe the GIF that you posted help win, as the guys here in the offices loved it! :)

Please email me in trust with your address, so I can get this sent to you. And then please post a photo here when you have received it! :D

Better late than never, promised pictures....

Overall I'm impressed with the PSU however the only thing that is currently stopping me from using it in my main rig are the quality of the cables. Really don't like the bright red and blue 6 pin, 8 pin and cpu connectors and the large amounts of heat shrink used.

Will hold off until I can either be bothered to braid them or a replacement cable kit comes out for them (EVGA has some so assume Super Flower will be doing some).

Thanks again!

I think it's fairly simple to change connectors. It's just a pin or two that pops out. No soldering or anything. It's just a piece of plastic securing a contact, after all. I imagine you could buy replacements for not very much from somewhere.

I totally agree that the blue and red are less than ideal, especially if you have a really clean, themed build.

Yeah i wasn't keen on the red and blue either so swapped them out for pre braided cables and used some black Acyrlic to box out the White LEDS

Great PSU though

Graphics card

I currently have an intel onboard graphics in an HP Compaq tower, the I7 processor chip is about all it has going for it.

Desperately trying to save up enough for a new purpose built computer, I sofa dive every week for loose change and take the trolly back when shopping at asda just to get the £1. So an nice new power supply would put me in the right direction and mean I might even be able to afford the full pc by xmas
