Silly question - what is TRUST? Apologies if i should already know this.. anyone who could shed some light to the noob (me) would be cool

Trust is a system used on this forum very similar to Ebays Feedback. IT allows one to say positive or negative comments about another basically informing us if said person can be 'trusted' or not.

How did you enter if you don't know what the trust system is? You have to use it to send your answers in! It's just a method of emailing forum members. OcUKs version of private messages.

Probably to sell it on so they can buy something else for their case. Effectively going for a cash alternative. It's fair enough, they get the same value out of it as someone who will actually use the card. Really the competition is just a giveaway of £200 with some MSI advertising.

Maybe im just biased because im running 256Mb 8400GS but if i had a good graphics card i wouldnt enter just to sell it on and potentially take it away from someone who might need it.

Everyone wants £200, whether you keep or sell on the card it doesn't make a difference. Someone who wants the card will get it either way, and the winner will be rewarded either way. And of course MSI gets a bit of extremely cheap advertising, and OcUK gets a good reputation for competitions and some new customers. Everyone wins.
