Has MS released the fully working "retail" version yet?

They pulled it back I think.

My Dad managed to download it before they took it down & he's had no problems

I found a version of it, but it gave me BSODs after the restart. Had to manually delete all the files via recovery console.

Yup, it was out for a while before they pulled it back.

Can't find it anywhere on the Microsoft site now, apart from the windowsupdate.com link I posted which I found through softwarepatch.com.

I'm using the release that 'was' retail, but now isn't.

I hope it wasn't pulled back for any major reasons, as mine has been running very smoothly and fast for a week now.

It was pulled for people using MS Dynamics RMS, no normal consumers would have any problems.

You can download the official SP3 package from the thread below, stoofa got the official SP3 package from MSDN and has kindly put it up a download link to the file.

XP SP3 now on MSDN
