win7 64bit or 32bit

ok i know the difference, but when i bought my pre order version i received a 64 and a 32 bit discs in the same case. does the 64bit win 7 come with the 32 bit disc as well now? as you can't only buy a 64bit version or a 32 bit.

problem:

i am buying this for my brother who has only a 32bit hardware. at some point he will upgrade to 64bit. but if 64 does not come with a 32 version to then i would have bought a OS he cant use and obviously buying the 32bit version wont be future proof for him.

does the 64 bit version have a 32bit disc as well with it?

To my knowledge Windows 7 just comes as "Home Premium", "Pro" etc. If you've had to specify which architecture then this is an OEM version you've bought?

If you buy the retail windows 7, then you get both 32bit and 64bit disc's in the box, OEM only comes with the one which you've ordered. I've personally found that although you have less ram in 32bit, it seems that gaming is better in 32bit despite websites stating that they are the same. For everything else though 64bit is a better option, and an absolute must if you have over 4gb of ram.
