Okay, trouble installing Windows 7. Cables arrived this morning so i plugged in my Pioneer Disk Drive (UATA) and my WD 360 (SATA/PATA). The 360 is in the first SATA connection on the motherboard, so i moved my other 160GB WD HDD (with Vista on it) into the second connection. I put the disk in and it boots into it, goes through a few things then gets onto the installer. I select my language and allow them to take my soul but when i try to tell it to install in the WD 360 it gives me this message:
Or something similar to that. I tried reformatting it, always gives my the same message. This is with the 64 bit disks and my specs are:
E2140 @ Stock
2GB Generic 667MHz CL5 RAM
ECS Livermore 8
x1950 Pro
Akasa Paxpower 400W
Non standard 160GB WD PATA HDD
Pioneer UATA/IDE Disk Drive
Another problem i encountered after installing the new HDD and Optical Drive is that my Splash Screen has disappeared, meaning i can't access what little BIOS options i had. What should i do now?
Windows cannot find or create a partition on this disk. See log files for more info.
