Hey guys,

I've recently installed windows 7 and it seems to hang at the windows 7 boot screen logo thing for about 2 minutes untill it actually reads the hard drive and starts the OS, also, my onboard ethernet card doesnt seem to work after windows 7 done an update, which i guess i cant really do anything about, ive tried to update the ethernet ports drivers btw, which didnt work, so i was thinking of getting a PCI ethernet card like this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-106-EX&groupid=46&catid=1597&subcat=

and just use that, will there be a difference over my onboard ethernet port? also what do you think is causing my OS to hang for ages at boot?? ive tried about reinstalls, but all have been from the same disc, its win 7 ultimate 32bit btw, any helps really appreciated!

Many Thanks! :)

Was everything working before the update? An ethernet prot failed on my last mobo, I thought it was nothing but the board fried itself two days later.

okay then, ill do it tommorow, in the middle of transferring my old files back onto the Hard drive -.- and i hope the mobo doesnt give in :/ i dont really wanna spend £35 on a new am2 mobo when im meant to be saving for a bulldozer system :/
