Hi guys, I recently bought a 2001 alfa romeo 156 veloce knowing that there was a problem with a broken plastic clip inside the drivers door to do with the window moving up and down. Bought a new system, seemed to be working fine, but now for some reason the window is coming off track every time it goes down (always in the same place, near the top).
I've lubricated the runners so I don't think that is the problem, however, there is a small round hole near the top corner of the window that would usually be hidden, however with it always coming completely off at the wrong angle it can be seen. I assume something should sit inside this and possibly keep the window from doing what it is currently doing, however I have no idea what the part would be called and have tried googling around the subject to no avail.
Any help or advice anyone could offer would be brilliant.
Thanks!
P.S. I'm not really totally car savvy, so if there is anything extra you might need to know to help out, I'm happy to provide what info I can. Cheers.
