Currently i have a Windows 10 PC which has been upgraded through the years from Vista Business with Office 2010.

I want to buy Windows 10 and Office 2019 and do a fresh install.

1. How are some companies selling Office Pro for £39.99 and Win 10 for £29.99?

2. How i understand it now Windows OS licences are linked to your Microsoft account so i can reinstall it if i build a new replacement PC?

Thanks.

At those prices it's usually making use of 'someones' account as you get multiple installs with office, from our experience we've found people buying these have been given a email address and password to activate the account and it can last 1 week or several months.

Seems to be the consensus of what i have been reading. Many of these cheaper resellers have high numbers of people complaining they couldn't activate the software/OS. I don't want to risk buying a license which could get blocked in the future.

I bought Windows 10 for about £12 from an allkeyshop seller a couple of years ago. It's been fine.

You can get Office 2019 from there for about the same price. For that cheap, I'd certainly give it a go, it's not much to lose. @Terminal_Boy bought it a week or so ago and it activated ok AFAIK.

I have 5 O365 licenses through work so can use one of them.

Looks like software via some of these companies also states its a one time install for Windows and Office.

Cool - but some people don't buy pirated software.

How is a copy of Office 2019 that I downloaded from directly from Microsoft pirated?

I fully accept that the product key is very likely a re-sold development or OEM key.

It's not pirated. It's a proper MS key. I went through MS phone service to activate.
No, just because you activated the software doesn't mean it is in any way legitimate.
I mean, it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to realise that when Office is £150+ to buy outright or £50/year for single subscription and Windows retail is £80 that £12 is obviously not legal license pricing is it?
But of course, head in the sand, keep telling yourself it's all ok etc.

You think system builders pay those prices?
